 April Showers Bring May Flowers....

And Scott County High School
    Baseball.....

 The Easter Bunny arrived.....
And, so did the beautiful tulips Ian planted for me two Winters ago....they grow hardier and more lovely each year...
Johnson's first word was "ball" and his first sentence was, "Mama, I ball".....so it is fitting that he had a great baseball season his senior year...as did we all.

Poppy and Grammy even came in this season for a game or two, or three....
As did Uncle Jim...Ian and Poppy

 Poppy, Johnson and Grammy

Sis Madison's birthday is April 10th.  She still managed to attend her own party even though she had worked the night before...She loves  Applebee's so that is where we went..
 And, they sang to her...

This tree is in our neighbor's yard, but I love it and have photgraphed it often...it makes me smile as it goes through the seasons...weathering the storms, ice, snow, rain and sun...it is a very elegant yet strong tree...I relate...
Theme for Prom this year 2014 was the Great Gatsby and Shelbi's Aunt had a friend who had a car who allowed us to borrow it...they looked wonderful...

Kenton and his friends went via limo to a local restaurant called Rodney's.  The owner is a friend of mine and she reserved them a table in her very lovely restaurant...they kids looked beautiful..and handsome.

On April 12, 2014, Kenton was sworn in with the Kentucky Air National Guard based out of Louisville, Kentucky.  My dad, Chet Millstead, was there to oversee the swearing in...

From Grandfather to Grandson, passing down his military legacy.  It was a memorable day for all of us.

Birthday Girl decided to get a new "do" so Ian and I surprised her with a little extended Birthday present of a cut and style and a few other little goodies...I think she enjoyed it:)
