My friends Suzanne (a/k/a Skuzzbucket) and Dianne and I have been friends for over thirty years. At the time we met, we all weighed in at 116 lbs. I was 22, Suzanne was 32, and Dianne was 42. We worked together at Fowler, Measle and Bell and hit it off right from the start. We were then, and are now, the "Three Amigos". They have shared this life with me and I am forever blessed. On occasion, we let our husbands come with us as we have fun together!
The Prayer Jar was already pretty full by February. I wondered if it would be big enough to hold all of the prayers we would have in 2014!
My brother, Jim, came for one of the boys' final basketball games. He has always been a loyal follower of all the activities of my children.
For Christmas, we bought him a hat...a fedora. He loves it and we love him!
The boys had a great season. They earned "runners up" in a great last game of the season and of their high school youth sports career.
Referee, Jimmy Beckett, was a wonderful and Godly man who just happened to also referee all three of my children. Jimmy is partially deaf and yet, he refereed almost every sport my children played in: Basketball, Baseball, Volleyball. The boys loved seeing him at games and would always go up and greet him. We think of him as one of the finest..
Ian's birthday was February 13 and we took him to his favorite spot, "Buffalo Wild Wings" a/k/a BWW....we even bought him a jar of his favorite buffalo wing sauce, Honey B-BQ.
I have no doubt that my kids have given him some of the most "unusual" cards....but, he's a great sport!
The only thing which would have made his day better is if Jacob and Lindsay could have been there.
All in all....he had a great and blessed day!
We love him.
Happy Birthday, Sweetheart!
